The Taro Puree Cake Squishy is a wide, flat slice of slow-rise foam in a soft lavender, printed like a taro-frosted cake with sprinkles on top, about 21 x 12 x 6 cm, sold in its own dark tray. The tray bends with the cake when you squeeze it and stays with the product.
In the hand
Press the slab with the whole hand and the top dips, the sides bulge and the tray flexes, then the foam rises back over ten to fifteen seconds with the light crunch of the crackled shell. It is the same wide, slow press as the rest of the cake family.
Design and details
