Most butter squishies are made of soft polyurethane (PU) foam, the slow-rise foam used across the squishy category, with a crackled outer shell that crunches lightly when squeezed. A few designs in our catalog use a translucent gel or a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) instead. The exact material is listed on each product page.

Slow-rise foam returns gradually after a squeeze, but recovery time varies with the specific item and conditions. We have not published a timed test across the catalog, so a fixed number of seconds is not a measured specification. The Translucent gel design is moldable rather than slow-rising.

Check the specific listing for scent information. Food-inspired names and colors do not mean a toy is scented or edible. If fragrance sensitivity matters to you and the listing does not state whether it is scented, contact us before ordering; do not assume it is fragrance-free.

Most of the catalog is the standard 4 oz stick, about 13.5 cm long and 113 g. We also carry 14 oz jumbo sticks, a mini, cake and kitchen-shaped squishies, packs of 3 and 12, and blind boxes. Yes. A blind box contains one design drawn at random from the assortment shown on the product page, and sets of several boxes can contain duplicates. A design you did not expect, or a duplicate, is not a defect. Defective, damaged or incorrect items are covered like any other order.

We do not claim to have invented butter-shaped squishies. Butter Squishy is the name of this shop; we do not claim an affiliation with another toy brand. We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, and PayPal. The available methods are shown at checkout. Payment is taken in US dollars when the order is placed.

Payments are processed by our payment providers over an encrypted connection. Card numbers are entered on the provider’s secure form and never reach our servers. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep and why.

Prices are shown in US dollars and include any customs duties and import taxes. No additional tax or fee is added at checkout and nothing is collected on delivery, so the price you see is the price you pay, plus shipping if your order is under $25.

Email contact@butter-squishy.com with your order number as soon as possible. We can change an address, a design or a quantity, or cancel the order with a full refund, as long as it has not been dispatched. Orders are dispatched in 2-3 business days. Once a package has shipped, use the return process instead.

Yes. Many designs come as 12-piece packs alongside single sticks, and several blind boxes offer 2 to 32 pieces; pack sizes are listed on each product page. For quantities beyond what is listed, such as party favors or group orders, email us with the design and quantity you need.

Standard shipping is free on orders of $25 or more and costs a flat $3.99 on orders under $25, whatever the number of items. We ship to all 50 US states. There are no handling fees and nothing to pay on delivery. The rate is shown at checkout before you pay.

Orders are dispatched in 2-3 business days and delivered in 5-7 business days after dispatch, so most orders arrive within 7-10 business days of checkout. You receive a tracking number by email as soon as your package ships. These are estimates: carrier delays and holiday peaks can add a few days. Details are on the Shipping Policy page.

Yes. Every order ships with a tracking number. You get a confirmation email when you order and a second email with the tracking link when the package is dispatched. The first scan can take 1-2 days to appear. If tracking stalls for 10 business days, contact us and we will trace the package.

We ship to street addresses in all 50 US states, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship to US territories, to military addresses (APO, FPO, DPO), or to addresses outside the United States.

No. Butter Squishy ships on a duties-paid (DDP) basis. Prices already include applicable customs duties and import taxes. You will not be charged customs fees, brokerage fees or import charges when the package arrives in the US.

If tracking shows the package as delivered but you cannot find it, check with household members, neighbors and your building’s mailroom first, then contact us within 7 days. If tracking has not moved for 10 business days, contact us too. We open a trace with the carrier and, if the package cannot be located, we send a replacement or issue a full refund.

You can return any unused item in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Change-of-mind returns go to France and you pay the international return postage. Contact us first for approval and the exact return address. If the item arrived defective, damaged or incorrect, we cover the return shipping. There is no restocking fee. Refunds go back to the payment method you used at checkout. We issue the refund within 7 days after the returned item reaches us and has been checked. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the amount can take a few extra business days to appear on your statement.

Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item and its packaging. Once we confirm the problem, you choose between a replacement and a full refund, including any shipping fee you paid. We cover the return shipping, and in many cases we will not ask you to send the item back.

We do not run a separate exchange process. For a different design or pack size, return the item for a refund under the conditions above and place a new order. For a defective, damaged or incorrect item, ask for a replacement when you contact us.

Butter squishies are recommended for ages 14 and up. They are not intended for children under 3 because small parts can come loose and pose a choking hazard. Keep them away from young children and pets, and discard a torn squishy. See the Safety Information page.

No. A butter squishy is a toy that looks like food and is never edible. Do not put it in your mouth, bite it or chew it, and keep it away from young children and pets who might mistake it for real butter, cake or toast. If a piece of foam is swallowed, contact a doctor or poison control.

Wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth, with a little mild soap only if there is a visible mark, then let it air-dry fully. Do not submerge it, machine-wash it, or use alcohol or solvent cleaners. Check the product-specific care instructions: gel and TPE designs are not PU foam. Stop using it and throw it away: a torn squishy sheds small pieces of foam, which are a choking hazard for small children and pets. If your order arrived torn, crushed or different from what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we will replace it or refund you in full.
