About the Milk Cake Squishy
The Milk Cake Squishy is a wide, flat slice of slow-rise foam in a soft cream color, printed like a milk-frosted cake with sprinkles on top, about 21 x 12 x 6 cm, sold in its own dark tray. The tray bends with the cake when you squeeze it and stays with the product.
In the hand
Press the slab with the whole hand and the top dips, the sides bulge and the tray flexes, then the foam rises back over ten to fifteen seconds. The crackled shell crunches lightly on the frosted face. It is the widest, gentlest squeeze in the shop.
Design and details
The cream frosting, the sprinkles and the layered edge are printed and molded into the foam. It is the palest slice in the lineup and the one that photographs like a real cake in soft light, which is why it needs the same warning as its siblings: never edible. Keep it out of direct sun, which yellows pale finishes, and away from heat.
